Victor has a passion for helping people understand important financial concepts so that they can make smart and informed financial decisions. Ilyse Pender (MBA 2006) – VP Marketing LinkedIn
Ilyse is a Certified Sommelier and a manager at Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards, a privately-owned winery in Saratoga, CA. She is involved in most aspects of the business: planning product releases, analyzing sales data, recommending production levels and leading wine education classes. Before working in the wine industry, she spent 10+ years as a software developer-turned-manager taking Enterprise products through the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and user interface design. Along with her Berkeley-Haas MBA, Ilyse has a BS in Computer Science from University of Michigan and a Masters in Software Engineering from Santa Clara University.
When Ilyse is not working, you most likely can find her training for her next body building competition. She is also a die-hard Detroit Lions fan and enjoys international travel.
Aaron Kelley (BCEMBA 2012) - Active Board Member LinkedIn
Aaron Kelley is a Senior Director of Strategic Accounts at Amyris, with responsibility for the Flavors, Fragrance and Nutraceuticals businesses. With over 17 years’ experience, Aaron has broad experience having held roles in process development, manufacturing, marketing and business development. He recently returned from three years in Asia leading the starch processing enzyme business for his former employer, DuPont IB. In his spare time Aaron participates in Triathlons, likes to golf, and spend time camping and hiking with his family.
Lisa Lum (B.A. 1999) - Active Board Member LinkedIn
Lisa currently serves as Executive Director at AAMA (Asia America MultiTechnology Association), leading the association’s efforts to accelerate ideas and best-in-class collaboration with high-tech venture capitalists, successful entrepreneurs, and up-and-coming innovators in Silicon Valley and Asia. Prior to AAMA, Lisa was Manager with The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Ltd. responsible for operational development and planning for the Group’s portfolio Peninsula Hotels in Asia, the United States and Europe, which include the opening of The Peninsula Shanghai in 2009 and the opening of The Peninsula Paris in 2014.
Lisa grew up in San Francisco and received her bachelor of arts degree in Legal Studies from U.C. Berkeley and spent one year with the Associate Kyoto Program at Doshisha University, Japan. As a lifelong learner, Lisa recently completed the Venture Capital Executive Program at Haas School of Business and a Certificate in Hotel Revenue Management from Cornell University. She is trilingual with a love of Cal serving as the President of the Berkeley Club of Hong Kong and as Board Member of the Haas Silicon Valley Alumni Chapter.
