Napa Wine and Beer Tasting Picnic

Enjoy the company of fellow Haas alums from the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, North Bay and East Bay chapters at a fun picnic and wine and beer tasting in scenic Napa Valley.

We will be tasting wines from Trefethen, Saint Helena and Villa Ragazzi wineries and craft beers from Calicraft Brewing. The CEOs from all three wineries are Haas grads, and the founder of Calicraft is a Cal grad, so we will be enjoying the taste of fine wines and beer, while supporting fellow Haas and Cal alums.

Michaela Rodeno, former CEO of St. Supery Winery and current CEO of Villa Ragazzi, will give a talk on the Wine Industry in Napa.

There will be snacks to complement the wine tastings, and food purchases will be available from two food trucks.

If you want to enjoy all of the amenities offered in Napa, you could stay in a nearby hotel and spend a relaxing weekend visiting several wineries during harvest season.

Schedule:

Noon – guests check in and receive a name tag and a raffle ticket. Food trucks will be available to purchase lunch, and guests can start networking with fellow alums while sampling the craft beers of Calicraft Brewing Company.

1:15 pm – Michaela Rodeno will talk about the wine industry in Napa.

1:30 pm – Lesley Russell, CEO of Saint Helena Winery, will introduce the wineries and the wines they are providing for the tastings.

1:45 pm – wine tasting begins, and snacks will be available to complement the wines.

3:15 pm – raffle winners will be announced. Prizes will include bottles of wine and other items.

4:00 pm – end of event.
